Unfortunately, we’ve had to become completely accustom to Condé Nast’s global content sharing strategy over recent years, which is now a common practice. Editions of Vogue from across the globe often share content – and even covers. The latest to be shared is American Vogue‘s Summer 2024 cover shoot (first released a whole two months ago) starring Kendall Jenner. The shoot is unsurprisingly regurgitated as Vogue France’s offering for August 2024. Via the lens of photographic duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, the American beauty and current face of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger can be found posing down on a sun-drenched beach on location in Mexico. In the sultry cover shot, a bronzed Kendall Jenner is dressed by stylist Tabitha Simmons in a polka dot bikini from Dolce & Gabbana,

“The one time literally thousands and thousands of people descend to Paris for the Olympics, this is the cover they have… a reprint from a 2-month-old US Vogue. Wow. Condé Nast really are not helping themselves. Why would anyone, tourist or not want to grab this copy on a newsstand?” Kite questioned.

Everyone else was satisfied, to some extent. “Absolutely despise the current content sharing strategy from Condé Nast, and still think it’s a crying shame to see what French Vogue has become. However, I cannot hate this – all things considered. The cover itself takes me back to the glory days of Vogue Paris. For that reason alone I will… accept,” reasoned vogue28.
