Particularly if you’re hunting for some Levi’s, who’s moved some serious heat into their sale section and also is offering 30% off a transaction with both a top and a bottom. To be honest, we get the sense that “Labor Day” (or is it, uh, Labour Day) would mean something entirely different in the UK. REI, the GORP-core superstore, has been known to bypass a traditional sale period, which they do for great reasons and should be applauded for. Labor Day, however, doesn’t appear to be one of them. The Japanese retail juggernaut equally famous for its approachable prices and GQ-approved basics is no stranger to a pinch-me deal. Uniqlo’s rock-solid wardrobe staples are plenty affordable to begin with, so when you factor in a celebratory discount, that handsome plaid button-down you’ve been eyeing becomes a total no-brainer.
